ACCOMODATION AT NAVAL OFFICERS INSTITUTE, KARWAR

The NOI(Kar) has 18 guest rooms which include 4 suites, 6 single bedroom guest-rooms(FC1-FC6), 8 two bedroom guest-rooms (FC7-FC10 & Bayview 1-Bayview 4) and 6 two bedroom transit accomodation (HOYSALA 1-6).

F7-10 and HOYSALA 1-6 are fully-furnished transit accomodation for long stay purposes complete with facilities like air-conditioning and an all inclusive kitchenet for all your daily requirements. The scenic beauty and plethora of wildlife brings you one step to closer to nature and makes your stay here at NOI(kar) a truly memorable one.

T.Y DUTY

In view of limited accomodation available at NOM, NOI therefore becomes a destination of choice and convenience for TY Duty officers. NOI provides attractive packages which include complimentary beverages, catering and high-end Ayurvedic massage facilities.

BOOKING GUIDELINES

Present Guidelines for booking:

  1. Booking of NOI can be done up to 90 days in advance.
  2. In case, the cancellation is done by the applicant the booking amount will be deducted as per existing rules.
  3. Check in/ Checkout time - 1400/1200 hrs
  4. The above booking is provisional and is subject to cancellation in case of service exigencies.
  5. One officer can sponsor for one guest room during the same dates.
  6. Advance payable for booking of cabin is 50% of the total rent of the period of booking.
  7. The chairman, NOI has discretion of canceling the booking at short notice without attaching reasons.
  8. Members booking the cabin are to ensure that not more than four persons (2 adults + 2 children) occupy each cabin. Booking will be cancelled in the event of members accommodating more than four persons per cabin. Additional charges of Rs.100/- for each extra matteress are applicable.

Rules for serving meals:

  1. No meals are permitted to be served inside rooms. All the guests are requested to have meals in the central dining hall.
  2. The timings for the Meals are :Breakfast - 0800-0945 hrs | Lunch - 1230- 1430 hrs | Dinner - 2000- 2215 hrs
  3. The Bed Tea and Evening Tea can be served in the rooms.

Priority for booking

First preference will be given to members of NOI Karwar and second preference will be given to serving officers of other stations.

Allotment

Allotment to other category will be at the discretion of the chairman.

Forms

The duly filled application from for booking, along with local cheque / DD towards booking amount to be submitted at NOI Account section at MO(Kar) during working hours on all working days.

Arrival / Departure

All visitors are requested to intimate arrival and departure details, so as to ensure the availability of the caterer, readiness of the rooms, bills etc.

Cancellation

Cancellation of booking is to be intimated as early as possible. The advance deposited will be refunded if cancellation is intimated well in time from the date for which the suites or the guest rooms are booked. The booking amount will be deducted as follows

Duration of booking

Guest Rooms will be booked for maximum period of four days extendable to seven days subject to availability. However during peak period duration of booking is restricted to 3 days.

Change of dates

One change of date is permitted, provided seven days advance notice has been given. Change will be subject to availability on new dates.

Catering

Catering is to be provided by the NOI caterer against firm orders which will include morning tea, breakfast, lunch, and evening meals. An electric kettle and tea kit will be provided in each cabin.
